At iMEDI24, our goal is to help you in case of a medical emergency and make sure that emergency services receive your vital medical information along with your current location so they are best placed to assist you quickly. Sometimes a few minutes can be the difference between life and death so make sure you have the best chance possible. REMEMBER: You must REGISTER as a member in order to use the iMEDI24 emergency service.
FEATURES
EMERGENCY BUTTON: upon pressing the ‘Emergency button’, your Smartphone will display AMBULANCE and POLICE buttons.
When AMBULANCE button is triggered:
•Automatically calls emergency services in the country you are currently in
•An SMS message containing your current location & accuracy will appear on screen
•Designated Next-of-Kin will be notified of both your current location and the emergency situation via SMS
•Your critical medical information will be sent to the Operation Control Centre at iMEDI24 along with your current location. Operators will further transmitted to the emergency services. (This feature currently only applies to Norway)
•A push notification with an alarm sound is sent to your mobile and alert screen will be displayed. On reaching the scene, emergency services can view the device where medical info will be shown in the local language
•Currently available languages for critical medical information are listed under FAQ
When POLICE button is triggered, same procedures as above will happen with the exception of the push notification and functions linked to it.
REPORT ACCIDENT BUTTON: upon pressing, calls automatically the emergency service number of the country you are currently in, and sends an SMS with your current location.
FIND: upon pressing, displays several options such as: relatives, pharmacies, hospitals and emergency numbers.
FIND – RELATIVES: upon pressing, list of relatives and friends will be displayed. User can choose the ones he would like to localize. After sending a tracking request, when this is accepted, user will be able to see the position on map of the person he’s searching for.
FIND- PHARMACIES/HOSPITALS: enables you to find the nearest pharmacy or hospital, based on your location. This feature is available only in certain countries. See FAQ.
FIND-EMERGENCY NUMBERS: this function is especially useful for users that don’t have signal on the mobile, and needs to call, from a landline, any of those emergency services: police, ambulance or fire department.
LOCATION VISIBLE/HIDDEN: gives the user opportunity to show or not his position to other users. IMPORTANT! When user triggers emergency button, his position will be made available to the emergency services or to the persons who previously got tracking access.
•Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
DASHBOARD: gives access to several functions such as personal details, critical medical information, etc.
WEB FUCTIONS-iMEDI24 WEB PORTAL
Our web portal gives you access to several functions such as: your health journal, your relatives’ health journals, personal details, relatives’ details etc., both on mobile and web browser. Personal Information can be edited or updated at any time. All personal information is held securely and is not shared with anyone except the emergency services when necessary.
IMEDI24 CONTROL CENTRE (CURRENTLY APPLIES ONLY IN NORWAY)
•iMEDI24’s operators will ensure that your position along with your submitted critical medical information is sent to the appropriate emergency medical services when necessary.iMEDI24 staff are always available to help in case of emergency, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

EMERGENCY BUTTON FOR MYSELF WORKS WHEN THE INTERNET CONNECTION (Wi FI, 3G, 4G, Edge) IS NOT AVAILABLE
FIND - MY LOCATION: as iMEDI24’s user, you can see your location at any time. It will be displayed together with the latitude, longitude, altitude, accuracy, address and map.
